Your lack of planning guarantees that you and your family will struggle at a time that is already emotionally devastating."

LONG TERM CARE & LIFE INSURANCE AGENT #4017197

Founder

Stacy has been in the legal field since 1984.  She worked for the Livingston County Board of Equalization and then for First Metropolitan Title Company doing real property title abstract and research.

Here she's pictured in front of the courthouse in Livingston County Michigan, where both she and her "great great" Grandfather worked.

She knows the value of family and roots.

Passionate about being an involved member of her community and giving back.

Dedicated to the details and getting it done!

In her own words:

I found out the hard way how difficult it is to navigate the incapacity of loved ones and eventually the end of life process.  Even with the assistance of an attorney, it took me two years to probate my mother's very small "estate".  Without a plan that YOU create,

your family could be left in turmoil.

The benefits of having a (resiliency) plan were brought home to me with the loss of both my parents back to back, our oldest son at just 25, my brother, my nephew at 30, my best friend, and several close friends.  Eleven loved ones - all in just a few short years.  All of that compounded loss has motivated me to help others be prepared for difficult times, to be able to pivot ... and to be Resilient!

Getting Health Directives and financial documents in order, obtaining powers of attorney necessary for managing medical and financial decisions, understanding the MediCal "reach back" rules (the state looks "back" on finances of the past three years in California in order to qualify), there is so much to handle.

In addition, does your family understand your own wishes for end of life?  Have you named someone to handle your affairs in the event of incapacity?

Often it is easier to just put off thinking about these things but your loved ones will bear the brunt of trying to deal with all these matters.

I have a background of paralegal training and certification along with being of service to my community however... most importantly, I have a wealth of personal experience with these matters.

Although I was raised on a horse ranch in Michigan, I have embraced Meadow Vista and California as my home for the past 30 years.

I worked at Coherent for almost ten years as a Laser Optics Product line Planner.

I worked with a lot of people in the community and had a lot of fun.

I have been a local Big Sister, A CASA (Court Appointed Special advocate for Children) with Child Advocates of Placer County, I've worked with Placer Community Foundation, a volunteer at the local schools, involved in feeding the homeless, a participant in community events such as the Meadow Vista Pool project and the Community Center project.

I love the community that helped raise my little village family!

Thank you!

A resiliency or pivot plan can make an enormous difference in your life and in the lives of your loved ones.

Lets get started and we'll help you get it done.
